You’ve seen me make the white sauce. So, how do we use it? I’m going to use it with leeks and some fresh chives.
Method
To cook your leeks and chives
1. Add one Knorr Chicken Stock Cube to a pan of water.
2. Once boiling, put the roughly sliced leeks into the pan. Blanch the leeks in water with the Knorr Chicken Stock Cube (you can also use Vegetable, whatever you prefer).
3. Pour on enough white sauce so it coats the leeks. You don’t want to drown them.
4. Take some chives and finely chop.
5. Add to the pan and mix through – voila!
