Knead
Kneading is a technique used to mix and work a dough to make it into one cohesive mass. Kneading is done either manually or by machine. By hand, kneading is performed using a pressing-folding-turning action. Depending on the dough, manual kneading can take from 5 to 15 minutes upwards. Well-kneaded dough is characterised by a smooth, elastic appearance.
